Hello all,
I love the idea of supporting a chapter auction basket for convention. To
keep the theme of our recent meeting, I think it could be very attractive
to do a technology themed basket where the big ticket item would be a pair
of Rayband Meta smart glasses.
This would mean that the starting valuation of the basket would be quite
high, but I am confident that it wil auction off for a very
competitive price.
I wonder if the Rayband store in Cambridge would even offer a discount or
donation since it is for the purpose of raising funds for the NFB. To
compliment the glasses, we could have smaller tech related items such as,
portable charger, Echo dot/google home device, etc.
Happy to hear others thoughts, and count me in on contributing to funding
whichever basket we create.
Best,
Kinshuk
