Hi Lauren:
The kindle does not read the text out loud.  The "speech reading out loud device" has been blocked by book publishers, I believe.  NFB is in the process of trying to fight this issue, but it could take years.  I don't know anything about the glare.

        Hi all.

        I am thinking of buying Joli (age 8 vision 20/400 with dyslexia) a kindle.  I like that it can provide enlarged text another with a reader who reads the material out loud. I am worried that there might be a glare factor though with this. I am wondering if others have used this device and what your impressions are.
