[MonadnockChapter] regulations on mailing free matter for the blind

Hello Marie,

Thank you for this information. Is there a regulation number so that we could mention it to the postmaster‘s if we have problems?

There is so much misunderstanding on the subject! I know a woman that was denied free matter privileges because her neighbor saw her go out to the mailbox and she reported to the postmaster that she wasn’t really blind because she was able to find the mailbox. Based on that the postmaster denied her privileges.  I have received white cans and many other materials using free matter.  It is upsetting how ignorant some postal workers are on the subject.
