Hello Folks, I have a question about effect processors for the guitar, and I'm hoping someone might be able to help me out. I bought a Digitech effect processor with a wa peddle, and it has different effects on it such as distortions, and more. I should have researched it a little more, because it has a lot of menus that are obviously not accessible. The only thing I can do is cycle through the presets, and using the waa peddle change the volume, and waa. For example I have a preset for vibrato that I'd like to change, such as the speed of the effect and more. I found out that the only way to change the patch is to edit it through the menus. It does have a USB port, but that's only used as a sound driver with the computer. Can any of you give me some ideas on a good effect processor that would be accessible? I am researching a company called line6, and there effect processor called the tone port, and also one called the Pod, I believe. Has any of you heard of those products, and are they accessible? I would like to find an effects unit that would hook up to my computer, and I could edit patches, and creates my own effects. I'd also like however, to be able to attach a controller to it, so I could take it on the road. The way I use it is I plug my electric guitar into it, and then use the quarter inch outputs to go into my amp. Any help would be grate.
Thanks.
Mick
