Franandah,

If travel is a goal for you, then know that it is a goal within your
reach. Perhaps not this year, but it will happen because you will
make it happen. Perhaps as a student--or perhaps after you've
finished school. Maybe you'll convince the people around you that a
blind person can travel the world independently. Or maybe you'll
travel on your own despite others' mistaken belief that you can't.

The point is that if you want it, and if you're willing to work for
it, you can make it happen. Know that you have the support of the
National Association of Blind Students, and the whole of the National
Federation of the Blind behind you. We're not accustomed to giving
up when someone tells us that we can't. We ignore such people and
get ourselves the results we need.
