Jamie,

You are correct that there is no such bylaw.  There are some people around 
who are openly hostile toward the ACB (but a pale imitation of the 
reciprocal attitudes on acb-l, for certain!), and those people would argue 
that you could not be in good conscience a member of the NFB and a member 
of the ACB, since the latter stands as clearly opposed to the ideals of the 
former.

I don't think that statement is true, but a lot of people in the 
organization seem to be opposed to the Federation itself, regardless of its 
ideals and beliefs.  I found that very frustrating because we have a lot 
more in common than we have in dispute.
