[nabs-l] AAPD internship question

Hello Nabsters,
I was wondering, have any of you attended the AAPD internship program in Washington D.C.? The reason that I am asking, is because I am contemplating applying. However, I want to go to national convention, and I am unsure if I would have the opportunity to do so, if I apply and am selected. So, my question, I suppose, is:
Has anyone attended, and knows if someone can take the week off to go to national convention?
Best,
Michael Ausbun
