[nabs-l] Question about Bookshare on the Apex plus another general websites question

Hi Sami. I highly recommend renewing your bookshare account on your
computer rather then the apex. Although I was able to do things like
purchase from amazon using my apex, that took a lot of work on my
part. Like Ashley has already stated, the apex uses a very old web
browser that as time goes by, more and more websites just won't work
with it. For example, I couldn't check my bank account balance on my
lo0cal banks website using my apex. I got a security message, and the
page just wouldn't load. Having an upto date web browser is one of
the reasons why I'm saving up money to get the braille note touch.
The apex is a very nice device if you need to read documents in
braille, or listen to audio books, or even listen to web radio, but
for intensive web browsing, the apex isn't a good device.
