You can... if you have the money or can fight to convince DVR to pay for it, which I feel would be tough...
Obviously it should be your choice, but I believe if it were me, I would go about it a different way, that costs much less time, money, and resources. With an understanding of the training you’ve already had, it should be fairly easy to gain further skills and practice new things just from problem solving with US, other blind folks!
Just my thoughts...
