[nagdu] snow was update on my questions

I know that even when it gets to be sub-zero, I still have to make that
god-awful trek out into the cold. So, both of us are bundled up nicely, and
of course, my pup wears gear on her paws. I have used a product called
Paw-tectors which are used for sled dogs, so they work great for Misha. They
hold in her body's heat, and I rarely feel her shiver. If I did not use
these, she would be limping so terribly that we would be stopping every few
yards to warm up the paws. regardless of what product one uses, footwear
for winter is an essential part of the working dog's gear from my viewpoint.
There are just those times that I do have to go out, and although the city
bus stop is only a half a block away from my home, and only a block and half
from where I am dropped off to my office, she still needs htat exercise.
So, I put the booties on her and maybe take a 2, 3, or 4 block walk if the
walks and curb cuts are clear. That is probably the worst thing we face is
the areas that are still snow-covered now turned to an icy concoction that
can only be removed by a jack-hammer. Somehow, it all seems to get better
though after we hear that first robin in the later winter/early spring as we
know at that point spring is not too far off!

Please enjoy the snow in Montreal as much as we are enjoying it here in
Wisconsin! Smile

Steve & Misha
