[nagdu] poodles/labradoodles

As far as using breeds besides labs, golden's, crosses, and shepherds, I
heard that GDB did some trials, but has made a final decision not to expand
their breed selection. As far as shepherds are concerned, my understanding
is that the number of shepherds is dwindling, and they are not working to
increase it, so there's a long waiting list if you insist on having a
shepherd from GDB.

I saw something in the GDB alumni news that said they were not offering
poodles anymore. They had decided that the, um, input to output ratio was
not good enough. Too many failures.

On the other hand, GDB said it wasn't training any more shepherds, but
there was a picture of a shepherd puppy in the Guide Dog News. Beats me.
