[nagdu] college & guide dogs

Hi Kathrin. I used my first guide all four years at college. He was g
great. After the first week of the semester, I could travel around campus
almost on auto pilot. My biggest problem was when my schedule changed and
Nicholas wanted to follow the route we had become familiar with. My
professors were all great. I went to a small Jesuit University in Wheeling,
so maybe things would have been different on a large campus. You need a
guide who will sleep or relax through classes, as is Amos and was Nicholas.
I used the public bus system to get to campus and that was a problem until I
convinced them I wanted to ride the bus and I was not just out walking my
dog! grin Go for it!

Sincerely yours,

Bob Hicks,
