[nagdu] church access

Hi,
In our church, we have a ramp to get into the sanctuary, church office, and
Church Lounge. In our Parish House, we have one of those chairs that ride up
a rail and it goes up the steps. We looked into a ramp to that building but
it is too close to the curb to allow for the building of a proper ramp. We
have installed handrails outside. So far, the disabled people in our
congregation can walk a little or transfer to that chair. Also, members
help people get into that building. For the dogs, we have a little patch of
grass for their use.

We have a really small congregation of mostly seniors and we just don't have
the resources to do the major rennovations to provide real access.

Someone mentioned grants for this purpose. What grants are these. I'd like
to know so I can pass the info on to our Church Council members. Thanks.

Linda and Landon
