[nagdu] Toys and Words

Hello,

Here's a question. If you can't play with balls because they might run 
after them while working, what can they play with? I mean, give them a 
kong, and they see a hose and they might run after it because they 
misconstrued it as a kong.

Second, I was told by an instructor at the Seeing Eye who has been 
working there a while and who knows, in my opinion, what he's talking 
about that dogs do not understand language, but the but they do 
understand the sounds we make. I do not know if this is true or not, but 
I find that when using long phrases with my dog, she becomes confused, 
and hardly ever obeys. If I use a simple one word command such as come 
instead of please come here, she comes instantaneous.
