[nagdu] Brushing

Other people do mind that. My young daughter mentioned to me once that my 
dog had too much hair shedding. I realized I had been remiss in grooming, 
and now I have revertd to every day, along with doing the teeth. He's a 
cross.

Not my lab.  I brush her once a week.  I have to say that I get covered in
dog hair, but I don't mind that.

Julie J, you say you don't brush your dog every day.  You have a boxer, so
that may be fine, but I know people who don't brush a lab every day, and I
think that's a problem.  When I was a college kid with my first dog, a
lab, I didn't brush her every day.  I figured every other day would be
fine.  But then a friend told me that, every time I visited, he ended up
cleaning up lots of fur, and he'd appreciate it if I'd brush the dog more.
 So since then, I've just made it a habbit to brush every day (unless I'm
very sick, or have been out until a ridiculous hour).  I know some
shedding is inevitable, but I'm convinced regular brushing keeps it down
considerably, and, to me, it's part of being a responsible handler, if you
happen to have a shedding breed.
JMO.
