[nagdu] dogs escaping

Toni,
Those were some of my thoughts, too. Snow does funny things to young dogs
who do funny things while romping in it. If they've managed to lose their
tags and notice you're busy and can't hear them romping in the soft new
snow.... I don't know that was the case, but it was what came to mind as I
was reading. /smile/
Then there are the times you forget to put the bells back on your guide dog
after brushing her and don't notice that she's lying on the floor where you
happen to be walking. /lol/ I've been very diligent about keeping those
bells on her for the past week!
Well, my favorite part of the story in question is that it ended safely and
happily. That's what really counts in the end.

To join the conversation, the dog was not wearing tags and most
likely just followed the man outside. With no tags and the snow
blowing, the dog couldn't be heard. We don't know if the dog was an
escape artist, or just young, frisky and wanting to be with his partner!
