it's funny, I was going to respond to this message when I got home  
from work.  When I got off the bus on the way home from work, the  
driver told my Doberman guide, Laveau to "take your mama home."  She  
doesn't listen to anyone but me and in fact gives people a nasty look  
when they try to cue her.  The guy then made several comments about  
how badly trained my dog was because "on television, the dogs always  
do as they are told."  Like others have said, it was at that point  
when I had to get assertive with the driver and tell him not to cue my  
dog.  I informed him that she would not listen to anyone but me and  
that it's never a good idea to cue someone's assistance dog.

I do find that I am getting quite a bit more blunt spoken as I age.   
I'm going to turn into a mean old lady before long! LOL
