GDB does not provide chips or licenses; however, Lexia has both. I paid to
get her micro chipped, and the license was free for service dogs. /Also,
she wears two collars: the GDB issued chain collar and a regular cloth
collar. I keep the cloth collar tight enought that she cannot slip out of
it easily. I leave the GDB collar hooked to her leash and take it off of
her in the house. She has never had any trouble with her hair getting
rubbed off; she has quite a thick mat of hair around her neck. It almost
looks like she's waring a jacket with a collar on it.
