[nagdu] First cane walk!

I have a couple of telescoping NFB canes, which work pretty well and
are very light. Plus, when the cane is broken down, it doesn't gain
any thickness since all the pieces telescope into each other. They can
collapse at inopportune times, such as when crossing streets, but they
are pretty handy for taking places and then collapsing to put in a
purse or backpack. I have a spare in my backpack for just this reason,
and in case of emergency or if I need a cane in a pinch. When using
the telescoping cane verses the straight rigid canes, there is a
distinct difference as to how it feels and to some degree the kind of
information you get from it, but they work pretty well.

Good luck,
Wayne
