[nagdu] So and so lets me pet their dog.

Hi Deanna,
For the solicitation of petting, I'd put the Gentle Leader on him. You have
more control of the dog's head and people tend to hesitate to pet because
the dog has this "thing" on his head. I had to do this with Landon when we
were going to be in a crowd - sometimes still do! I keep the GL in his pack
on his harness so I can just stop, pull it out, and put it on him.

I rarely pet other people's guide dogs - it depends on who it is and what we
are doing. If I do pet another's dog, Landon will shove his head between me
and the dog. I only do this with people I know well - never people I don't
know very much or when someone comes home with a new dog.

Lyn and Landon
