[nagdu] NFB Canes

Julie and All,

I use carbon fiber telescoping canes and fiber glass straight canes. I
have found that carbon fiber telescoping does not collapse as easily as
fiber glass, while straight fiber glass canes have a give that is great
if the cane gets stuck under something. I can't tell you how many
aluminum ambuetech canes I've lost from being bent all to heck.

I've had both the fiberglass telescopic and the carbon fiber and
honestly I 
cannot tell the difference.

Well, except for the price! *smile*  Last time the fiberglass was $10 
cheaper.

There seems to be a lot of variety in types of fiberglass or what is
being 
sold as fiberglass.   Some of it is heavy and not a very bright white,
while 
some of it is indistinguishable from the more expensive carbon fiber.
