My now retired golden guide Bristol was 16 inches tall and 38 lbs when  
I got her-- she was from a program.  She finally topped out at 18  
inches and 40 lbs.
She is my little golden Snitch! little but mighty.
My 26 inch tall and 65 lb Doberman seems huge.  Bristol can walk under  
her.
