[nagdu] Missing Washington Co. Boy Found After5-MileBarefootWalk

No. I am not talking about a subcutaneous GPS tracking chip. I was thinking
of something more on the lines of a bracelet or wristwatch with tracking
capabilities. Something that could potentially be removed with a key. My
only problem with such a solution is, is the person able to consent? If the
person is wondering off and getting into dangerous situations a tracking
device would be in his best interest. But it sounds too much like big
brother is watching for my taste. However, this would be a slippery slope.
As soon as we start going down this root, when will it stop. Will an
Orwellian big brother emerge to track everyone? Is it legal to put a GPS on
someone? Can this boy even consent to something like that?
