Dear All,
Now that we have digested the Thanksgiving meal, fought off the crowds of Black Friday, and the Bulls kicked the Hurricanes butts, we need to get down to the business of NAGDU. It's time to begin planning for the 2011 convention of the National Federation of the Blind and the meetings of the National Association of Guide Dog Users. The monthly meeting of NAGDU's Board of Directors will be held on Sunday, November 28 at 8:00 EST (7:00 pm Central; 6:00 pm Mountain; & 5:00 Pacific) via teleconference. The call-in instructions are pasted below my signature. We welcome the input of anyone with ideas about interesting and innovative topics for our seminar and issues of concern for the membership to consider for our business meeting. Although only members of the Board of Directors may make and vote on motions, time is provided for members to offer input during the meeting.
We will also have reports on our National Toll-Free Education & Advocacy Hotline, the work of the Consumer Satisfaction/Policy Resource Project Committee, and other ongoing projects of the National Association of Guide Dog Users. I look forward to a lively, dynamic meeting!

fraternally yours,
Marion Gwizdala, President
