I did learn that the more you tell TSE in the process, probably the better they match. They told me they had two dogs in mind for me when I got Spencer. At first I thought maybe Spencer was too much; but they said they thought the other dog might be slower than I would like. Spencer slowed down and became very manageable. If the other had slowed down at the same rate, he would have been way too slow. As for when I got Wayne, I wasn't happy from the start but tried to adjust. I think if I had negotiated, I might have had the opportunity to change, but not sure. I think the Sunday afternoon with dogs is a close second to that as you get some feel for how you will handle various dogs, though you don't really walk with them anywhere. I rather like the surprise factor though. <Grin>
