Putting on my herbalist hat here.
It is very important, when treating your dogs for an illness or  
problem that you consult with an herbalist if you choose to go this  
rout.  Not all herbs will work for all dogs, and not in the same  
dosages.

Many of the herbal products on the market have needless fillers in  
them or are dosed incorrectly.  Herbs are not harmless; there are  
plenty of herbs that are "all natural" which I wouldn't want to take--  
just ask Socrates.
If you are planning to use herbs with your dog to deal with thunder/ 
storm anxiety, please consult with someone who knows what they're  
doing and who can do a case on your dog and be thorough.
