Oh, good grief! In other words, your landlords should know better than 
other landlords what the bleeping law is!

Sorry you are having to go through this. Wouldn't it be nice if the law 
were actually enforced so you didn't have to spend so much time running 
around and dealing with people who can't just follow the bleeding law?
