Hi, Gary,
you may want to check out Petsmart or Petco to see if you can purchase 
Pawtecher shoes.
They stay on really well and don't fall off as quickly.
The trick to getting them to stay on when putting them on the dog's paws is 
to take one side of the shoe, fold it over and around the bottom of the paw 
and then tightly wrap the velcro around it.
Another good one to check out is Polartechers.
Depending on the size of your dog's paws, small may be best for him.
You can also refer to PAWZ, another brand of a dog shoe, but it's not really 
a full shoe.
It feels like the same material balloons are made out of.
The PAWZ only covers the paw of the dog's foot and won't go all the way up 
their legs.
