Hi Julie,
Wearing the boot makes it difficult to get around and my foot hurts
constantly. I have been taking 800mg of Motrin to keep the swelling
down. I don't want to take the tylenol #3 because just started the fall
semester of graduate school in the counseling department and it makes me
drowsy/loopy even if it helps alleviate the pain some. I sympathize with
not being able to take Monty out and having to do retraining plus your
long recuperation time. I have been there and done that- last year when
I broke my pelvis; GDF had care for Destiny for close to two months
while I was confine to bed then in a wheelchair before I progressed to a
walker while in physical therapy. Destiny got the short end of it. It
took me almost a year to fully recover from that. It was very
frustrating because I heal very slowly.

I wish you swift healing and Monty patience. You are fortunate he will
go out with someone else. Destiny doesn't go out with anyone else.
Take Care and God Bless,
Janice and Destiny (in Retraining)
