[nagdu] question about chest pad

I've seen these chest pads when my friends here had Pilot Dogs. The spikes
are metal and rounded so they don't actually pierce the dog's skin - nasty!
I think there were only two or three of these things on the pad. You can
find similar things in a pet shop on dog collars, but the ones Pilot uses
are less sharp and more rounded. You still don't want to give a hard jerk
back on the harness handle with these things on. But they do discourage the
dog from pulling real hard on them.
Pssst! Don't let PETA folks see these! LOL! Seriously, they aren't visable
to the casual observer - unless they put their hand under the chest strap of
a harness.
Speaking about PETA, they are doing something good for a change. In
Oceanside, CA, part of San Diego Couonty, some idiots used duct tape to
attach a whole bunch of helium balloons to a tortois and the balloons lifted
the reptile into the air and snagged in a tree. The animal is safe and
healthy and being provided a new home. I just saw on my Channel 10 News
Alerts (KGTV) that PETA has raised $2,500.00 for information that leads to
the arrest and prosecution of the people who did the deed.
