Hi Mardi,

 First of all, I want to wish you a belated happy birthday. Also sorry those
people sitting at the next table over from you  were giving you a hard time
about your dog being in the restaurant with you.   Sometimes people just
don't get it no matter how  much you try to educate and explain to them
about our guides and that they are allowed to accompany us into restaurants
and any other public establishment. Good for the waiter sticking up for you
and giving you such a great compliment about your dog. People like the ones
you were dealing with need to be educated about our guides but sometimes
it's just better to just walk away and leave well enough alone especially
when people like that don't want to listen or be educated. Take care.
