We are also assumming that there are traffic rules and paterns in Estonia that everybody follows. Perhaps this is a flawed assumption?

You need to make sure you are facing the street you are about to cross correctly so you don't run the risk of crossing at an angle.  You want the crossing to be as straight as is possible from down curb to up curb.

>From what I understand, many of the schools in Europe do what we call home training.  It sounds like that students training with a guide dog do so in their home town.

Here in the United States, you travel to a school that may or may not be where you live.  As an example, I live in Maryland, but the school I go to, The Seeing Eye, is in another state, New Jersey.  A couple of schools in the U.S.  offer home training only.  Some can offer a mixture of in-class and home training (called home and away).  If there is a special reason why home training needs to be done, some in-class schools will offer that to a student.

I am sorry to ask again I think it is my langugae issues but what does it mean If grossing the street on the route, your alignment wasn't proper?
And can please somebody ecxplain to me what does it mean to take classes? In estonia we dont have classes...We are just handled the dog and then the trainer starts walking with the dog and blind  and teaching the blind...
