When Odie was a lot yunger, I didn't allow petting while he was in harness directly as he has a big weakness over kids in general.
He loves being around them.
Odie is a lot older now and as long as it's people we know in general, then I will allow him to visit by using the "go say hi" command.
Once he's said his hello, I will then tell him let's go.
Bibi
