Maybe I won't be liked for what I have to say on this topic. I think a dogs 
house manners have alot to do with what the puppy raisers teach the puppys 
in those first few months. I know dogs will be dogs, but not all dogs chew 
everything in sight. Also if the dog is worked enough, no board, then there 
is no reason for a pup to chew on things in the home. We as handlers can 
influence our dogs not to chew on things. Like I said this is my opinion 
only.
