[nagdu] Hello

Eve I'm not sure if you are referring to me as the one crabby woman or
the individual who wanted to take my dog's picture, whom I refused. If
it's me, I assure you that I was very upset with the events that
weekend. It has taken me some time to get over it enough that I can
talk about it. Please note it has been more than six months since this
happened. I also stated very clearly in my message that there are lots
of Lions who are good people doing great things. It is only a few who
are spoiling it. I tried very hard not to come across as crabby in my
message. However I absolutely refuse to be silent about a real
experience I had. We are never going to change what it means to be
blind if we don't get real honest about the issues we are facing.

If it was the other woman you were referring to, well yes she was
crabby. Most of the others I encountered that weekend I wouldn't call
crabby, but they certainly didn't have what I would call a great
attitude about blindness in general and very specifically my choice to
owner train my guide. If it was a single woman that I had a problem
with, I could have easily dealt with it. That was pretty far from my
Lions experience though.
