We all have the option of doing that, And even though most of our dogs are capable of doing that, I like to keep tabs on my dog at all times. Therefore, she goes through security right before me as I hold onto her leash. With all the hustle and bustle going on at the airport, one never knows what can happen. I'd rather be safe than sorry. But of course, everyone has their preferences, And different things work for different people.
