[nagdu] What is a canny collar?

Thank you both for bringing this up again. I was wondering if that is
what it was like. I appreciate the detailed description Julie. I had a
halty for my shepherd because whe was a sniffer and it was hard for me
to tell if she was just peanut rolling when we walked or if she was
getting into trouble, so I needed something to keep her head up. The
issue I had was that I was unable to give corrections that wuld not
have hurt her with the Halty, so I manipulated it a bit. First I had
to alter the nose strap so it fit better and would not slide off, then
when hooking things up, I always ran the neck strap through her chain.
That kept it at a level that was effective. Actually, after a couple
of days of this, I stopped using the Halty. What I mean is that she
wore it, but I did not need to hook into it any longer. She knew it
was there and with her chain held high, she was great... Well
concerning sniffing at least. Again, thanks for bringing this back up
Dianna and for answering Julie. Blessings, Eve
