You could also try a top entry litterbox...it may sound super strange, 
but you could get a second top entry box and feed her in there so the 
dog can't get to it.

I fed my cat in a kennel, and I turned litter boxes so they were facing 
the wall and the dog couldn't fit behind them.  Good luck.
