What's the difference between stay and rest//? I've always thought they were just different words to mean the same behavior...hang out right there, don't move around and don't get up.

About the sauna...my dog isn't very good about taking commands from others...even if they do use the right words.  I'd leave him on a rug in a down/stay or in a portable crate if I had one.  I'd tell the people watching him to ignore him and to come get me if there were any problems.
