[nagdu] What Should Dogs Eat was RE: Growing Up Fisher

I tried my dog Echo on a raw diet, because some friends had had great
success with it, but she could not adapt to it.  So, I guess it's great
for some dogs, and not for others.  After a while, I gave up on it and
settled for feeding her the best kibble I could find.
I guess I could have tried home-cooked, but I don't always find time to
cook for the humans in my house, and didn't feel like adding the dog into
my cooking chores.
But, if the dog thrives on it, and the person has the time for it, it
gives the most control over feeding quality.

Bookshare has a number of books on raw feeding or home-cooked dogfood, for
those interested.  I've seen one or two at NLS as well.
