Thanks to everyone for the cold weather ideas. She is getting used to the
cold, I think. She's not refusing to go out. Sometimes she needs some
coaxing though.

I adjusted her coat so it fits closer to her body, which should help with
losing body heat from the wind. I am going to include a piece on the
underside to keep her belly warm and to help keep the coat in place.

Meghan used the Roughwear boots with her last winter. Jetta is fine with
wearing boots, no fussing at all. She's very patient while I fiddle with
them. I only have the Paws boots here though. So I will be ordering her a
set of warmer boots.

I've had dogs that didn't like the cold, but Jetta was a lot more firm in
her protest of the cold than I had previously experienced. Oh, I also found
a better place to relieve her that is out of the wind. I talked to my
husband about making it even more wind proof because I think we are going to
have a very cold, windy winter. It's in the backyard, so I can go out in
my PJ's early in the morning without the neighbors wondering if I've lost my
mind!

It's all coming together. Thanks for the ideas, links and sympathy!

Julie
