Wow, I think you're being pretty harsh.  We don't know all the 
circumstances.  The dog, he said had settled down.  He never said 
they put the other dog down.  Getting rid could mean lots of 
things-the dog went back home, the dog went to a family friend, 
any number of things.  Wow, you just landed a whole bowl full of 
judgement and stuff on a gun who's already devastated.  Babies 
and dogs move very fast.  Everything can be peaceful and then 
boom, it isn't.  And Barry has a right to see what is physically 
wrong with the dog.    Debby and Neena
