TSE suggests that we not tell people the dog's name because people will talk to them using the name, thus distracting them. Also, they ban people from telling about other people's dogs on social media, though I am sure that doesn't always work. They never said we couldn't tell our friends, but suggested that it might work out better not to tell Robert Q. Public.

I have never heard of this policy before. Does it depend on the school? Which schools have the policy where you are not allowed to tell your dogs name?

But, I am not sure I really like the policies that some schools have about withholding a new dog's name. I think that the decision of when and even if you do want to share your dog's name with others should be up to the handler, not the school.

So  today  is  dog day , the second  day  here at Southeastern,

I was  matched  with  a  yellow lab, male, (name withheld by Southeastern  guide lines)) but  so  far  he’s  good,  though  I wanted  another  black lab  male, I  guess  a  yellow  lab  and being   a male  is  half of what  I wanted.

He’s  more love me, then  Franklin  is, he wags  his  tail at a  good boy and  gives kisses, so  all  good things.

I’ll update  when I can
