Hi, I didn't read the article because of the links, but just 
because we can walk down the street using our canes doesn't mean 
that there might be other people with various disabilities whose 
service dogs mean they can get out and do things, and without 
them they can't.  I just wouldn't want to put too general of an 
opinion about something like that.  If your service dog pulls 
your wheelchair, then you very well may not function well without 
your service dog.    Debby and Nova
