I once had a blood technician or whatever you call it say I couldn't bring
the dog because the dog would think she was attacking me with the needle and
so my dog would bite her. Really I'm ont joking.
Anyway, no it is not acceptable, you should either complain or be really
assergtive next time or both--smile.
You take care,

Dan

I had blood drawn at my doctor's office this morning. My husband drove me
over and I took Emma. When I was called back the woman who drew the blood
told me I would have to leave my dog with my husband.
I asked her why and she said it was a sterile environment. I told her it
had neer happened to me before. She then said there wasn't room for the
dog. She also said pets weren't allowed in there and I told her my dog was
not a pet. My husband did keep the dog and I plan to make a complaint to an
administrator but I want to know if I am correct in my thinking. What would
have happened if my husband was not there?
