[nagdu] Working indoors during the harsh winter

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone.
Visiting a Target or Wal Mart is a great idea.
I would actually feel more strange about visiting a hospital or
doctor's office just to go rather than dropping by a shop just to
browse and wander. I mean, if an employee is helping me browse at the
store, yes, I feel weird not buying anything. But if it's just me by
myself or with a friend or my siblings wandering around, then it's not
awkward for me.
The thing with walking outside with where I am now is that I have to
take a bus to a walkable neighborhood. My parents' neighborhood has no
sidewalks, and I don't plan on going for an entire walk in the road.
How do I figure out which neighborhoods are walkable? How do I know
who shovels and who doesn't when that neighborhood with sidewalks is
several miles away?
Working outdoors might be better now that February is coming to a
close. This is the coldest month of the year, and there's nothing more
awful than walking for blocks and blocks with the wind in your face
and it's below zero. And oh oh oh, the ice?! Don't even get me
started!
Okay, done complaining for now.
