[nagdu] dogs and canes

I have to agree that a reminder/refresher article might be in order.
It can't hurt but keep in mind not everyone has had the luck of having
Orientation and mobility training so grace may be needed as well.
What the heck are folks doing walking around playing swords with those
canes? I must be lucky cuz I've had encounters with canes hitting my
person much too high opposed to hitting my dog square in the face much
less the harness handle. I do know what yall are talking about and
tht's unfortunate to be represented in that way. My dog never got
accosted like that maybe because he was a big guy weighing in at 75
pounds most of the time. I don't know. Yes, I am one of  those cane
users who feels that pedestrians should be on the lookout for me. I
figure they see me before I notice them and lately everyone feels it's
there right to just walk right out in front of me grocery cart and
all. So if they get tripped they deserved it! I am not always going to
accept wrongdoing or fault. And I'm not any longer going to apologize
just to make others feel alright. Hopefullly, for you first-timers or
first-timers with guides your future conventions won't hold these
challenges or annoyances. Hope to see you all at future Conventions at
either organization. Off to catch up more on convention happenings.
