Dear Vivianha,
I've had a few moments of Odie being overweight, but it wasn't due to him not being worked enough.
His metabolism began to slow down when he was five years old.
Other ways a dog can be overweight as you've mentioned, feeding them something not for them.
Overfeeding them too much dog food can lead to obiecity too.
We can only do what is best for our dogs and as for others, it's beyond our control.
I'm planning on looking into owner training and I'll definitely be making sure my next partner is healthy.
