[nagdu] how offten?

When I was in school, we got our butts outside everyday. It was
necessary because I had 2 jobs and 7 classes, so there were almost
never days off.
Now, I live back with Mom and Pop. This neighborhood is crappy for
walking, so I just hitch a ride from a family member or catch an Uber
ride to an area with sidewalks.
I take walks with no particular destination. My dog and I both love
walking and just being outside, and it's great exercise for us. We
both love breathing that outdoor air and walking for leisure. I might
start the walk and end it with him in-harness, but the majority of the
walk, he leash-guides out of harness.
I go to stores and such during the week some times, but it's not often
or long enough of an outing to burn off a good amount of energy. So I
take him for a walk at least 3 times a week.
There's a huge backyard for us to run and play in, and there's also a
sandbox here for him to get some good diggin' in. I think he gets some
good work chasing rabbits outa the yard, too. Lol.

I plan to start taking him on walks around my new job. It's half an
hour from here. So maybe next week, I'll start exploring that area
some. It's a beautiful community with public transport and lots going
on, so if I'm not too tired after work, we can get a decent walk in.

These dogs don't forget their work as quickly as the schools say they
do. The schools tell us to work them every day so they don't gain
weight. That's not what they say, but that is the real motive behind
it.
