[nagdu] Re. Bad dogs and the law / Disabled parking permits

I have had many of the problems that Sandra has had. I was once in A Frys
grocery store and this dog ,a pit bull, that it's owner claimed was a
service dog, went after my guide dog ,Shaman. I asked her to please control
her dog. Her dog, which was tied to her grocery cart with a rope, got loose
and again went after my dog.I spoke to the woman at the counter,who
witnessed both of the incidents, and informed her about the ADA and that
they could ask her to remove her dog. The woman listened to me and then
said nothing. I purposefully went to the opposite side of the store and
started to shop.Again her dog saw my dog as she came down the ile that I
was in ,and growled and lunged at Shaman.Shaman moved back and did nothing
.Again I informed the manager this time and He said he was not aware he
could ask that the dog be removed. But he also did not do any thing. I left
the store with out buying any thing.I also had my Lily attacked by a lab
from Guide Dogs for the Blind.Not once but 3 times and the handler
encouraged his dog.I called the school and they refused to even speak to
the man.Lily,Nala and Shaman have all been attacked many times and Animal
control has refused to do any thing.The police refuse to do any thing . It
just seams to keep happening and my dogs have to suffer.They just refuse to
enforce the law.                                      Now on to the
disabled parking permits. I have one, because I use a wheel chair. I have a
serious back problem.When I need to go shopping,there is almost always no
disabled spots open. Once in a while my driver will be able to get one.One
time my driver was able to find an open space and when we came out of the
store, some one had parked in the space next to our car . This is not a
parking space. It is a reserved  space for so person in a wheelchair can be
unloaded from a side lift.They parked so close that my driver had to pull
the car half way out so I could get in.People just do not CARE!!!!   Mardi
